Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services from 5280 Parking, a brand of VIP Parking Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"). It covers parking permits, guest passes, and OpenParking software subscriptions. If you have any question about a charge, contact us first using the details below — we aim to resolve billing issues quickly and fairly.
Parking permits
Resident and employee permits provide the right to park for a set period. You may cancel a recurring permit at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and the permit remains valid through the end of the period you have already paid for. We generally do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a current period, except where required by law or the rules of the community you live in. If a permit is charged in error or duplicated, we will refund the incorrect charge.
Guest and visitor passes
Guest and short-term passes are sold for immediate, time-limited use and are non-refundable once the parking session has started or the pass window has begun. If you were charged more than once for the same session, or charged for a pass you did not receive, contact us and we will refund the duplicate or failed charge.
OpenParking software subscriptions
- Free trial. OpenParking includes a 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. Your payment method is charged on day 14 unless you cancel first.
- Monthly subscriptions. You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your access continues until then. Monthly subscription fees already billed are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Per-permit fees. Usage-based per-permit fees reflect permits already processed and are non-refundable, except for charges made in error.
- Billing errors. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review and, where appropriate, refund it.
Full-service management
Full-service parking management is provided to properties under a separate written agreement. Cancellation, term, and any refund provisions for full-service programs are governed by that agreement rather than this page.
How to cancel or request a refund
To cancel a subscription or permit, or to request a refund for an incorrect charge, contact us using the details below with the name, email, and vehicle or account associated with the charge. We typically respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks
Please reach out to us before disputing a charge with your bank — most issues are billing mistakes we can fix directly and faster than a formal dispute.
